To meet growing demands from the community a new nursery was required at Kit Hill Crescent, Plymouth. This 36-place facility, catering for children aged 2 to 4 years of age, was constructed and located on a disused car park area and now also includes car parking spaces and an external play area.

The building includes a main teaching classroom, quiet room, toilets, fitted kitchen, serving area, staff office, and separate parent’s room. The building is finished with plasterboard decorated walls with a suspended ceiling, aluminium powder coated window and door systems, slip resistant and heavy-duty vinyl flooring with carpet, fitted kitchen, vanity units, pre-finished ash door sets and shoe boxes, coat hooks, and pin boards.

The works included externally a covered play area and a grass play area, foundations, drainage, steps and ramps with associated pathways, car parking spaces, surfacing works and all timber fencing to enclose the entire site.
